So November begins. Earlier this year, I thought about doing NaNoWriMo and finishing up or starting a WIP. I like NaNo. I like the push, but right now there’s just too much going on. This year the added stress wouldn’t be a good thing.
On the plus side, some of the stuff going on is because there’s progress being made. My Mother will soon begin her outpatient therapy. She can stand and walk, but she still has some obvious weakness on one side.
I do have goals and there’s progress I want to make this month. The last two months haven’t been easy, but I finally feel like I’m getting back into some type of writing and editing groove.
Don’t get me wrong…
I have made progress in other ways. I’ve brainstormed on three story ideas. Fully plotted one of them, bits and pieces on the other two. Worked on an idea for another. But none of that is for what I need to focus on now. It was what kept me busy and from dwelling too much when I was the most worried.
Now, it’s time to dive back into Shonna’s story and get back to what I need to do on my next rerelease. So that’s what I’ll primarily be focused on this month. To those doing NaNoWriMo, I wish you luck and fast fingers.
