Getting Creative
Set up Brigitte and Mitch are doing surveillance in a bar.
“From this position, we should be able to keep watch without
them knowing. We might have to get creative, though.” Mitch leaned
in close to whisper the words. Anyone watching would think he
nibbled at her ear. Not that she would have minded.
She reached up and ran her fingers across his cheek. “I can handle
that as long as you’re prepared to deal with me later.”
“Sweetheart, if you have a little problem later, I’ll be happy to
help you get rid of it.” He brushed his lips over hers.
“I’ll remember the promise.” She drew her hand over his chest.
“Are you ready to have some fun tonight?”
She picked up her mug and took a long drink before she looked
around the bar. The targets hadn’t arrived. It hadn’t been long, but the
men seemed to be taking more time than normal. Aileen and Dean
would give them a heads-up before the two men headed this way. She
waited.
“Yeah, I’m ready to find something to remember tonight.” The
way his eyes slid down her body, she knew he imagined taking off her
clothes later.
