New Year, New Goals, #amwriting

As 2016 comes to a close, I’m firming up my plans and goals. I’ve worked out the plans for the first three months and an overview of the yearly goals. I know that I want to get more published and at least some of my books rereleased this year. I’m trying to make sure that I don’t set myself up for failure by not being reasonable with the goals.

At the moment, I’m finishing up some end of year items (even if technically it’s the New Year.) Mainly I’m updating my word count spreadsheets, changing them to 2017. I’ve been so busy with the revisions that I left this until now.

I’m still focusing on being happy and living a balanced life. I think keeping that in mind last year helped a lot. I know I liked writing more when I was happier.

My immediate plans for January are to finish up the revisions that I’m working on, get another book in the revision queue and continue to working on Stone Passions 2 and Penny’s Story. Ideally, I’d like to get through one of those stories this month, but I’m also going to be working on a schedule that might help me get caught up with revisions to the new stories I have written (so I can work more on the older stories.) I plan to start plotting a couple stories in January so that I’ll have something ready to go when I do finish one of the stories I’m working on.

Happy Reading and have a Happy New Year!
