I’m back. I didn’t realize it had been so long since I’d posted until I came to schedule something for a little later in the week. So I thought I’d post a little update about what I’ve been doing.
Well, I’m doing some cutting on the Bears. I’m in the process of revising that story. Still trying to find the right title for it. (Big Sigh. I like the parts I’m cutting. It’s great to know that what I’m taking out isn’t total crap. It’s story that either doesn’t fit, is information that comes before where the story should begin, or doesn’t advance the story.
What I’ve snipped so far comes under the second. I started the story too early when I originally wrote it. Yes, the information is interesting and might even be related to the something that happens to one of the characters, but the scene’s not needed in the story.
I’ve also been working on Touch of the Moon. My hero Quintus is in some trouble right now. He’s determined to help out his moon witch, but Andrea (not sure about her name, but it will probably survive the first draft) doesn’t want him hurt. She’s suddenly realized he’s in far more danger than she is.
So that’s what I’ve been doing lately.
