Character Interview: Alexander from Tangled Bliss #CharacterInterview

Q. Chelsea says in the book that you have a light Italian accent. Where are you from?

Alexander: I was born in Palmi, Calabria in southern Italy. There’s a pocket community of Aelfir there. Allegra Abatesciani, my mother is Italian, my father is American. I lived there until I was eleven.

Q: Tell me about the first time you met Chelsea. In the book, it says she first saw you in a diner.

Alexander: Yes, she did. I’d stopped there to eat some lunch. She came across the diner and introduced herself. She asked me to lunch. I do like an assertive woman.

Q: Did she buy or did you buy?

Alexander: She tried, but I did. I’ll admit that there was a little masculine pride behind that.

Q: How long did you stay in the hunters? Why?

Alexander: I was in there nearly fifteen years including the training. I told the why in the book. I found a calling there. I found I liked helping people. It gave me a satisfaction I’d never felt before.

Q: Do you miss the excitement of being a Hunter?

Alexander: No, I don’t. I sometimes miss the friends I made within the Hunters, but I can contact them. Life in Alden Glen with Chelsea is what I want.

Q: How did you react when you found out Chelsea had a stalker?

Alexander: I was a little angry. She hadn’t told anyone about the first gifts. She just wanted to ignore it, but they kept coming. I knew that we had to be cautious though, because this stalker was showing so much persistence even though she hadn’t given him any type of response.

Q: Do you think you’ll have much trouble with the stalker?

Alexander: The problem is the stalker is anonymous right now. We don’t have a clue to who he is. We might as well be fighting shadows. Once we discover who he is, we should be able to stop him without a problem.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

Alexander: I want to be with Chelsea. Everything beyond that is just details. She’s the one I want.
