Well, hi and sorry for the absence. At the moment, I’m busily writing on a few stories, reworking on another and doing some research on short story. Mostly character development in that form, because as I’ve recently learned it’s a little different than letting characters grow in a 90k novel. I am looking for any of your favorite short story resources if you’re willing to share.
I am excited about a new short story I’m beginning work on. Yeah, even I knew I couldn’t stick to having only two active WIP, the bears and a future/sci fi menage. The short is a M/F fantasy set in a world a lot like ours, so familiar, but different and with a lot of problems I’m glad we don’t have. The characters in the short are interesting and I’m trying to focus on them, but I can see so much potential beyond this short for more, longer books. I have to keep reminding myself to focus. First the short, then we can explore.
