I sort of fell off the face of the web for a little while for the most part. I was trying to concentrate on finishing something I knew was this close to being completed. Well, it finally happened. I typed the end today on my Future Menage WIP. Woot! Days after I expected to finish it, but the last scene wasn’t right.
I love writing those words, but it’s not the end of the work. I’ll need to come up with a title for it, because nothing’s quite stuck or fit when I’ve tried possibilities. I will put it aside for a few days and work on other WIP in the meantime so I can look at it with fresh eyes. I know it needs work, but it’s a first draft and first drafts are supposed to need work.
But the great thing is I get to start another WIP. Believe me this has been playing in my mind and it didn’t make finishing the dang novella any easier. Which new idea to choose. Well, I studied my ideas and fleshed out plots and decided to move up something I’d been handwriting onto the typed WIP list. It’s not close to finished, but the characters and story are active and it should be a fun write.
