My latest release Familiar Desires is connected with the Protective Affairs Series. Now these vampires, witches and kitties can have some hot nights. It was hard to decide which excerpt to share from which book, because I do love these characters.

Now he’ll have to protect her from the killers stalking them if he hopes to finally claim his mate.
Excerpt:
“Well, you better get to it then, because I don’t think you can.” She smiled and raised a brow as she tossed those challenging words at him.
His eyes narrowed at that taunt. She obviously liked playing dangerously. “Never dare a wolf, baby. He might take more of a bite than you’d like.”
He leaned down and scraped his teeth across the skin just above the waistband of her barely-there panties. She shivered. That decided it for him. He was definitely giving her everything she craved. She wanted wild and slow. Well, he always loved a challenge and maybe it would help her believe that he was her mate. He knew she didn’t fully trust him about that, yet.
He rose to his knees and knelt between her thighs, bracing his hands at her shoulder as he leaned over her. She expected him to rip those panties off her. He wasn’t going to be that predictable, although the panties might get ruined yet. Aside from that, it would drive her crazy. The dark-tipped nipples and the glistening curve of her mouth deserved just as much attention.
He leaned down and nipped at her lips. She gasped and her mouth opened, but he didn’t take immediate advantage of it. He trailed kisses down her cheek and chin and little stinging nips along her neck. Her hands stroked over his shoulders and back, encouraging him even as she turned her head to give him better access. He took full advantage of it, determined to give her as much pleasure as possible. To see how she’d respond, he growled against that delicate curve. The scent of her desire increased.
“Will I find your panties wet? Is your sweet cunt wet and slick for me?” He lapped at the fluttering skin above her pulse point.
“Why don’t you check and see?” She wriggled, lifting her hips a bit in invitation.
His head rose and he moved until their noses brushed and he was staring into her eyes. “I think they’ll be very wet, but I’ll make sure.”
He licked her lips before trailing his lips down the slim column of her throat. She turned her head, giving him more access to the vulnerable area. She had no idea how much that simple move excited him or proved her trust, even if she didn’t consciously realize it.
He cupped her right breast in his palm, lifting it as his mouth lowered over the plump mound. Taking the pebbled tip between his lips, he teased it with his tongue. She just might get that wish for wild. The more he touched her, the greater his need spiked.
She hadn’t touched him yet, beyond brushes of her fingers on his shoulders and back. He ached for more, but in a way, he was glad that she’d held back. There was no way he could give her even a short time of slow if her hands were doing more than they were. He knew just how good her fingers and mouth felt wrapped around his cock.
