Good Morning! I’d like to welcome Beverly Ovalle and Aryne, the hero from Enter the Sandman to the blog today! We’re going to find out a little about Aryne and he’ll answer a few questions. First, give us a description of the Sandman.Let’s see, Alainn describes him perfectly, “He’s tall, ripped, huge…You know what I mean. Midnight black hair, long enough to cover his eyes and trail sexily over your skin like a whisper. Silver eyes that seem as if the moon has taken residence in them and that look at me as if I’m everything he ever dreamed of. He forceful without being cruel. Strong, but gentle. And when he touches me I burn up.”
What is the Sandman’s full name and what does he do?
Aryne Van den Zande and he brings dreams and comfort to his people while they sleep.
How long has he been a sandman and how did he become one? Is he the only sandman?
He was born a sandman. It is his family’s talent. One shared by his father and siblings.
What is his greatest achievement?
Aryne’s greatest achievement is to bring comfort to those that need it.
What is his greatest fear?
That he will be trapped in Alainn’s word.
What is the first thing that drew you to Alainn?
Her sorrow drew me to her. I bring comfort to those that need it. But when I touched her…I felt more.
Do you have a habit or weakness that you’d like to change?
I’m perfect as I am. I’m sure Alainn would agree. I am her dream man.
Tell us two of your deepest secrets or desires.
I kept Alainn from touching me by binding her. Seeing her helpless to do as I wish was more than to keep her from binding me to her world. It was empowering and totally sexy.
Alainn is the only woman I now desire. I want to build a life with her. A life in my world, with my family. Though Alainn has family, they drove her away with their complaints and ridicule making her feel alone. She deserves better and I am the one that will make all her dreams come true.
What is your favorite memory?
Alainn’s total surrender to me and realizing she believed in me enough to ensure our lives became bound.

Beverly Ovalle lives in Wisconsin with her husband Edmond of 24 years and two Chinese Water Dragons. Having her own Dragons is expected as she is dragon crazy and anyone that walks in her house can tell. Her son Nicholas visits when he is on leave from the Marines. Her daughter Susannah visits from time to time to make sure us ‘old’ folks are alive and kicking.Beverly has traveled around the world thanks to five years in the US Navy and has worked for the government in one capacity or another for the past 30 years.
