Ah, the weekend

This weekend has been mostly about relaxation and rest for me. I feel good now, before not so much. I read, I did some work on a project I’m handwriting, took a nap and watched some TV. (I do like to keep something going on paper. It’s very different than sitting down and tapping at the keys. I’ll update about them when I get more progress on these projects.)

It doesn’t mean I wasn’t thinking about what I’m working on or what’s coming next on my WIP queue. The female lead from the gargoyle fae thing is still persistent and pushing stuff at me, although she still has a ways to go before the plot solidifies there.

On the other hand, Brie, the female lead from the Santir futuristic tied to Lost Memories, has been more forthcoming on details, although she’s not as pushy as the female from above. I know her conflict even if I’m still working on the overall conflict. This story might go into the next open long slot.

I like her. I’ve known since I wrote LM that Brie has a few more troubles than Honie did. I’ve been learning how that came to be and why she’d stay away from men she’s wants so strongly. It’s not the same reason as Honie, although I can tell you she did want to learn how to get her memory back even if only to give the women who were her friends what they so desperately wanted. Now, she has something more important that is lost to her.

Delilah and Hallinger. Well, these two have history of the not so happy kind. She’s not ready to be in the same room with him and he doesn’t understand why. Now, he’s in Dallas and they’ll be thrown together whether she likes it or not. There’s still a little to work on conflict wise before it’s ready to begin, but it will be ready when there’s a spot for it.

More on these characters later. I might do some character interviews for one or two of them.

Happy Reading!
