I love men in kilts. One of the heroes in the Sword and Sorcery WIP that I’m writing wears a kilt (or kilt-like garment) to his sister’s wedding at the start of the story. So it got me to thinking. Is a kilt by any other name just as sexy?
Since this is based on another world in a fantasy realm not connected to earth, I probably won’t be able to use the word kilt which has history and origin here. I might have to come up with another word and give enough description
Any opinions on whether changing the name of the garment would make it any less sexy. Writers-have you come across this problem and what did you do?
