Tools for writers
Below you’ll find a few tools. Two are word count spreadsheets that I created because most of those that I found when I searched focused on either just the number or one book. I write on at least two books at a time. Sometimes on more than one in a day. As my process evolves, so will the tracker.
The core advice I’d give is do what works for you.
Simple Monthly Word Count
This is a simple month by month wordcount. Just enter your day’s wordcount under the appropriate date. I only did this on google sheets. To use, click the link, make a copy and rename.
Printable Calendar
It’s a simple printable monthly calendar if you want to mark down your work days or simply note your word count on paper. I’m currently using it as a “don’t break the streak” calendar. I x out every day I hit a certain goal. Simply click the sharable link below and select make a copy and rename.
